The Pacific Health Information Network (PHIN) held its regional conference in Nadi. Attended by senior level health executives responsible for digital health and health information from 20 Pacific Island countries and territories, the purpose of the regional meeting was to discuss the 3rd draft of the Healthy Island Monitoring Framework progress report, exchange experiences and identify capacity building needs in digital health, and to identify areas of innovation and transformation in the health sector using technology.

PHIN has also elected its new Board Members. The new board included: President Palepa Lenara Tupai (Samoa), Board Members Rebecca Manelese (Solomon Islands), Maina Tairi Mataio (Cook Islands), Manah Dindi (Papua New Guinea), and Sebastien Mabon (New Caledonia).
