The Pacific Community (SPC), with the support of French development agency Agence Francaise de Developpment (AFP), selected Pacific Development Consulting to scope, strategize, and develop a roadmap for the implementation of the country’s first national integrated social protection system for people with disability. Adoption of the National ID will help support the planning and implementation of comprehensive social protection programs, including supporting coordination across social assistance programs, including health services.

Pacific Development will be working with the Vanuatu Ministry of Justice and Community Services and other government sectors such as Health, Education, Labour, Internal Affairs, and Youth and Sports. Other partners include the Vanuatu Society for People with Disability (VSPD) and the World Health Organization.
