COVID-19 has increased the urgency of improving WASH across the Pacific region given the sector’s key role to human health and well-being. Despite being surround by water, many Pacific countries and territories have limited reliable water resources. Sanitation continues to remain a challenge across the Pacific, particularly in rapidly developing urban centres and large informal settlements. These problem are exacerbated even further by impacts of climate change.
